Find an approved garage

It's a good idea to use an approved car garage for work on your car, such as a service, repair or MOT.

These garages are all approved by the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair.

They all have clear complaints procedures, so if something goes wrong you'll have a better chance of resolving your problem.

It also means you can complain through a trade association if you can't work it out with the garage.

Search for a garage

You should search for a garage that is accredited by The Motor Ombudsman.
